After completing her Bachelor of Accounting at Payap University Chiang Mai, Nicky travelled to Australia in 2006 to pursue her passion for food by completing her Diploma of Hospitality Management in 2009. She has worked in Thai restaurants across Australia From Perth to Melbourne before opening Senyai Thai in 2015. Nicky's brother and Head Chef, Sim studied English at Phayao University whilst indulging his love of cooking by guiding tourists through the beautiful Markets of Chiang Mai and teaching them the secrets of Thai Cuisine. He travelled to Australia in 2013 to complete his Diploma of Hospitality Management and join Nicky at Senyai Thai Restaurant. He is joined by his wife Som who studied Chinese language at Phayao University and assists Sim in the kitchen as Dessert Chef.
Where we come from
Originally from the beautiful city of Chiang Mai in the Mountainous North of Thailand, Nicky, Sim and Som all share a passion for cooking and want to share their experience and promote Thai cuisine from all regions of their beautiful country.
Who we are
Nicky, is the Owner and Dining room manager at Senyai Thai Restaurant.
Sim, is Head Chef and runs his kitchen with passion and care.
Som is Dessert Chef and indulges her love of Thai cuisine and beautiful food in the Senyai Thai Kitchen.
